Maidstone Opens 2009 & Cup Of Europe, Portugal 2009

Sadly we do not have the results for the Maidstone Opens in September but we will try and get them asap!!

October 7th-10th Abbé, Ellie & Michael went to Portugal to represent Great Britain in the Cup Of Europe and the results are:

in the Youth division, Michael was placed 11th. (out of 13)

in the Cadet division, Ellie was placed 9th. (out of 14)

in the Junior division, Abbé was placed 12th. (out of 14)

Kent Artistic Competition

Over the weekend of 25-26 July 2009 LEA enterted a competition held in Strood. We all skated our best and this is how we did-

Cup of Europe!

As Michael, Ellie and Abbe came in the top 4 at their British champs they have been selected to skate in Portugal at the Cup of Europe for Great Britain !
Michael and Ellie had to skate trials for their place, at the weekend and both skates fab and got through.
The Cup of Europe is in Portugal in the October this year.
Well done to theese three skaters !!

Gemma And Abbes Championships;

Well done to Abbe and Gemma, They took place in their british championships on the 4th/ 5th of july,
Gemma placed-10th in her event.
Abbe Placed-3rd in her event.

Soham Open 2009

On Sunday we all travelled down to Soham. With beautiful whether we were up early for an 8am start!! Everyone did brilliantly (as usual) and here are the results!

We had 5 skaters that were picked to represent Great Britain for a solo competition in Italy and the results were:

WOW!

The final results of the Cadet & Youth British Championships are Ellie Phillips 3rd place & Michael Handley 4th place.

As Ellie made it into the top 3 she has been selected to be part of the British team at The Cup Of Europe in October (Which is taking place in Portugal)

Well done you two!

As of the first day of the British Championships Ellie is currently in 5th place & Michael is currently in 3rd place. The two have yet to skate their OSPs tomorrow. And the final scores will be finalised. GOOD LUCK GUYS!

Good luck to our cadet skater Ellie and our youth skater Michael who are competing in the british championships this weekend for a chance to skate in Portugal for the Cup Of Europe in October.
